Kim’s Taekwondo Center ranks 3rd in the Nation
Twenty members of Kim’s Taekwondo Center’s Competition Team traveled to Salt Lake City, Utah in July to compete at the 2024 AAU Taekwondo National Tournament, facing over 2,500 other top competitors from across the globe. Overall, Kim’s TKD walked away with a combined 34 medals from individual and team events such as board breaking, Poomsae (patterns) and Kyurogi (sparring) and finished as ranked 3rd in the nation in Sport Poomsae.
The Competition Team’s success is a significant accomplishment to be sure and the product of countless hours of individual and team training and the incredible support of fellow students, coaches and family. More importantly it is a testament to the unique culture and philosophy of Kims’ Taekwondo Center, where everyone is truly committed to lifting each-other higher and the real victory is standing side by side with incredible teammates, friends and martial artists.
