Red Belt Expectations

Students wishing to promote from Red Belt to Probationary Black Belt must demonstrate their knowledge and skills. Below are the items Red Belts will be tested on.

Self-Defense

Students can be asked to demonstrate multiple self-defense techniques.


Board Break

Students must select their own board breaks. 

Students must demonstrate a “power break” through 2 or more boards.

Students must demonstrate a “speed break” through 1 or more boards.
