If you’re thinking about competing at nationals this year, you have to compete in a qualifying state tournament first. The Minnesota State Qualifying Tournament (more info) is March 11th, 2023 and registration is now open. Events include Sport Poomse, Team Poomse, Weapons and Olympic Sparring.
Anyone planning on competing must meet with Master Kim first. You will also need an active AAU membership (more info), which can be purchased here. If you are serious about competitions, its a good idea to get this membership anyway.
